Love will always be an interesting subject and our relationship with it is always changing. Are we slaves to it, are we uprising against it, do we wait for it to consume and suffocate us…find out next(life)time on DBZ The film was a brilliant, chilling and beautifully captured piece of art. Taking such a championed emotion and opening a portal most weren’t ready for and took the audience to the depths of what love can look like in one of its more forms. The most chilling part for me was Nikki's whimpering cries for help. Being put there against her will was so fascinating for many reasons. Switching back and forth between the wish command and normalcy was almost inseparable. Reminds of me the saying ‘you show your true colours when your angry’. Who is the real version of you when you are dating or in a relationship.... People scream on dating apps that they want someone obsessed with them.
