"Never forget where you came from"

 "Sometimes in life, we don't understand why things are the way they are but I know one thing, I know you're special. You will do something very important one day. Something you were born for."

These words are planted into the mind of Max Dacosta as a boy of Afro-Latin descent by one of the nuns at the orphanage, where he was raised. The wisdom was shared due to some items he stole out of frustration from his circumstances. Max met Frey(a) and found comfort in one another as they figured out each day. The more time they shared the more they treasured each other's energy. They stumbled across a book explaining details of Elysium and dreamt of the life that he promised he would give her.

Fast forward to the year 2154 Los Angeles, where the world's ecosystem has deteriorated after years of negligence by humanity. Max is an adult going about his daily route to work when he gets assaulted by robot officers in the line to board public transport. Due to his felonies, he is easily singled out and his humorous remarks are seen as disobedience. Research suggests that artificial intelligence will categorise black people based on criminal records, causing them to be marginalised but will be programmed as a protective measure. Reports also indicate that these facts have been pointed out by experts and have been neglected by corporations. After the physical assault, he checks into a hospital and sees Frey, a nostalgic and reassuring surprise. He is happy that she achieved her dream of becoming a nurse. From helping him to read and write to nursing him back to health shows her nurturing energy is plentiful. He tells her he misses her and would settle for a cup of coffee, but she hesitates before agreeing which makes his day. He arrives at work late and is given grief by his supervisor who tells him he is lucky to have the job. 

Air crafts are usually arranged for locals to enter Elysium illegally as a last resort to receive medical attention. Delacourt (French for "of the courts") demonstrates her authority by having two out of the three air crafts shot down in orbit. The residents of the space station are repulsed by her actions but show no signs of opposing her decisions. The last ship makes it through the borders and lands quickly. The pilots and mercenaries encourage the passengers to quickly find a home to receive treatment before being captured. The med beds are machines that cure a resident of any illness. They have the Medusa logo on them, her energy has the ability to ward off the evil (like the evil eye) that comes through illness. When you are ill no matter how terminal if your spirit is able to remain calm, your body will heal itself completely. Desperation allows for diseases like fear to help spread the disease that is already harvesting through your body. Those who are desperate are not able to receive true salvation.

At the factory where robots are manufactured, Max's unit is jammed and is told by his supervisor to fix the situation from inside the chamber or he will be replaced. He fixes the issue at the expense of his life as the door shuts on him and is exposed to highly radioactive fumes. During this painful experience, he has flashbacks from when he was a boy to remember his path. The owner of the company John Carlyle, asks for Max to be quickly disposed of while discovering he has a terminal illness with a few days to live. Max threatens Spider, the mastermind behind the illegal transfers to Elysium for a ticket to heal himself. Spider agrees only on the condition he steals information from one of the board members. Max agrees and selects the target to be Carlyle. Spider gives Max an exoskeleton suit (steam roller) to help him fulfil the task. Spider is the gateway between the two worlds and weaves the strings to pull them together. The exoskeleton not only supports his frail condition but is also the key to his consciousness holding the data. 

The amount of data being hijacked is measured in Exabytes (next measurement above Gigabytes). The data Carlyle is carrying is approximately over 50EB, 1EB is worth 763 billion floppy disks or 11 million movies in 4K. According to Real Clear Science, a single gram of your DNA can hold up to 490EB which is astounding. If you are able to unlock the true wealth of information in your DNA, your perception and intellect can reach prophetic heights. It is through the connection of the spine, the central hub of communication between body and spirit that this is able to unfold. Carlyle's celestial nature is that of Zeus the God of abundance, information of that tremendous value comes with an immense price, Max’s life. If you train your body and mind you can find information from within that can be life-changing, the next step would be to implement it. 

Under normal circumstances, someone's body would have shut down and rejected the process. The stress and adrenaline Max is running on explains how his body could survive that level of structural engineering. Max's team assemble and map out how to demobilise Carlyle and retrieve the data. Kruger is contacted by Delacort to assist with the sensitive task and take care of the intruders. He has bargaining power due to the government not knowing about the assignment. A true psychopath but is also Max's other half. He is understanding and intelligent with his nature to hunt. The difference is he has removed his sense of humanity from his worldview.

The data is corrupted when uploaded to Max's mainframe making the extraction more fatal. Kruger is South African, who works for Delacourt (French Monarchy) who also has political ties. For decades they have been actively restricting African descendants from progressing on every level. They pass off as rightful citizens living in the country but they are actually caretakers, they don't want us to have the data to set ourselves free. This is also taking place with the French abusing their power over Arabic citizens as they fight for their rights and identity today. After the fight, Max limps through the streets after being stabbed, and an angel hides him to not be seen by Kruger. He finds Frey and she takes him home as she patches him up she sees the tattoo of the symbol they made when they were kids. He wakes up from recovery and breaks down his version of events and is interrupted by her daughter Matilda, understanding why Frey's life is complicated.

Max tells Frey he can't help Matilda because the DNA signature is locked to the individual, before he leaves Matilda gives him some advice. Max locates Spider once he lands on the space station and asks for his word that he can get the system out of his head and make everyone a citizen. After an epic battle between Kruger & Max, Spider asks for Max's consent for the third and final time before going ahead with the data transfer. Elysium reboots causing Max to transition and become a symbol of light for a new world of inhabitants.

The digital age is creating a chain reaction of events that are inspiring African descendants all over the world. Making constant headlines in the world's most advanced industries from technology, science and the arts. Finding information online shared from online communities to save themselves and allow them to create their own versions of paradise as the world continues to go on a downward trend. We are the most informed civilization in human history and yet only a few portions of society are really harvesting information to reprogramme their identity and frame of mind to new perspectives. Research is still being conducted on the side effects of the internet.  

A hero's true sacrifice is in the example they set for themselves by choosing and creating their own path. To the untrained eye, a hero's deeds go unnoticed until you see the other side of the illusion. Only then will you begin to realise the only place you have yet to explore is the other side of your thoughts. Beyond the doubt, fear, and confusion is clarity, understanding and peace. Remember who you are, where you come from and those that came before you. These help to build a soulful foundation within so you can always find yourself when you are shaken by the outside world and regain your power and tap into your heaven.
